Passengers transiting in Dubai, from Singapore, are not required to present a COVID‑19 PCR test certificate unless it is mandated by their final destination.

Emirates experience

Emirates has your safety and hygiene as first priority, and took extra measures to keep you safe. Everyone needs to keep safe distance with boarding through spaced seats, and the cabin crew will be in full personal protective equipment throughout the flight. A face mask is mandatory at all times on airport, during boarding and on board.

Fresh air

The cabin air of Emirates stays clean and fresh throughout your flight. Because of the advanced HEPA filters you can sit and relax in your seat without worry, since it removes 99.97% of viruses, germs and allergens. New air comes through the ceiling and refreshes every 2-3 minutes, while the old air is released outside - we're not breathing fellow passenger's air.

Hygiene measures

Emirates provides you with a hygiene kit on board, containing a mask, gloves, hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes. The lavatories will be disinfected regularly, and flights longer than 1 hour and 30 minutes will have an extra cabin crew member who will be cleaning the lavatories. Before every trip, the plane goes through an enhanced cleaning process.

Global multi-risk travel insurance

Emirates is the world's first airline to provide a multi function travel insurance, including coverage for COVID-19. You get the global travel insurance for flights purchased on or after December 1st. The benefits of your cover includes up to 500,000 USD oversea medical expenses, up to 7,000 USD cancellation costs if caused by COVID-19, or up to 7,500 USD if you have to abandon your travels for failing a COVID-19 test or medical screening at the airport.
