Airlines and destinations from Manchester Airport
Manchester Airport operates direct flights to some 225 destinations worldwide as well as providing an array of domestic services.
- Terminal 1, the largest terminal, handles scheduled and chartered flights to Europe and beyond. It's also an engineering base for budget carriers EasyJet and Jet2. Other airlines that fly out of Terminal 1 include SAS, Lufthansa, and Middle-Eastern carriers such as Etihad and Emirates. The latter operate departures to Abu Dhabi and Dubai respectively, both in the UAE.
- Terminal 2 is the base for Thomson Airlines. It's also used by Qatar Airways and United among others. Flights to the Far East also depart from here. Singapore Airlines has just begun direct flights to Singapore 5 times weekly, Cathay Pacific operates services to Hong Kong, and recently, Chinese carrier Hainan Airlines began flights to Beijing.
- Terminal 3 handles most domestic flights from Manchester and is the base for budget airlines Ryanair. It's also used by British Airways for domestic shuttles services to Heathrow. In terms of longer flights, American Airlines, Air France, KLM, and Iberia also operate from this terminal.
