Easier than most lighthouses to climb, the lighthouse tower, and the restored cottages reveal the fascinating maritime history of the Cape region. The lighthouse is also the starting point for a 3.5km stretch of the cape to cape walk that is boarded and suitable for wheelchairs and prams to walk from the lighthouse to Sugarloaf Rock.

This spot is not for the novice surfers but it does make a good watching crowd. On the weekend during the summer months, there are usually food trucks like fish and chips waiting to serve you up some fresh fare as you watch the evenings entertainment. Sunset here is magical.
