1. Bangkok
Any time is good to visit Bangkok but June is a wonderful time to shop as the Amazing Thailand Grand Sale takes place between June and August. With shops offering remarkable discounts on clothes, jewellery, furniture, electrical devices, you can shop till you drop! Though Bangkok in June is hot and wet, as long as you get prepared with an umbrella for the short showers in the late afternoon, it shouldn't spoil your travel experience.
#CTSGTip: Arrange for some indoor activities and some outdoor tours. If sudden rain comes, it will not ruin your whole day.

2. Manila
The culture in the Philippines is very family oriented and you will see a wide variety of activities that aim to cater to that. Families can visit DreamPlay - an immersive experience that brings the family together through education and fun. Be inspired by the DreamWorks Animation feature films such as Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, How to Train your Dragon, and Madagascar. If your kids love science, you will find the Mind Museum with 250 interactive exhibits and galleries in this award-winning science museum.
3. Perth
Wonder where to go for your next family holiday adventure? Follow our family friendly self-drive itinerary from Perth to Margaret River that will take you on an adventure from nature experiences to encounter dolphins and seals and local wildlife, lighthouses, breweries with dedicated children's playgrounds, vineyards, markets and more.
Road-tested by Aarika Lee & family and the CheapTickets.sg Aussie Specialist team, you can follow our plan to a great holiday!
4. Hong Kong
Get ready for some fun adventures! Hong Kong is packed with things to do with kids. No visit to Hong Kong would be complete without a visit to a theme park. OCean Park offers a sea animal adventure complete with rides for all ages while Disneyland offers shows, rides, and of course Mickey! There is also lesser known Noah's Ark on Park Island for those animal obsessed kids. Or you can bring the kids to head out to the seas around Lantau and seek out the elusive but beautiful pink dolphins.
5. Seoul
How about exploring the great outdoors with your family in Seoul? Seoul Grand Park is situated about 45 minutes from the city centre and has a direct subway station leading to it, so it’s pretty easy to get to. You can spend an entire day exploring the Seoul Grand Park Zoo, Children's Zoo, rose garden, Seoul Land amusement park, and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Gwancheon. From strolling among the gorgeous scenery, to seeing the almost 3,000 animals, to hopping onto a roller coaster—there’s something exciting to do for the whole family!

6. Tokyo
Tokyo is a fantastic city for kids because it has an incredible array of attractions and kid-friendly destinations (beyond Disneyland) that could easily keep a family very busy for a week or more. Check out Legoland Discovery Center - a hands-on destination with a play area and model builds of Tokyo. Don't forget to visit the Cup of Noodles Museum in Yokohama where you can make your own noodles and ramen. There are kids classes and a large indoor playground.
7. Penang
Penang is the heart and soul of Malaysia - it is a melting pot of culture with beautiful people, interesting attractions and is a foodies paradise! Locals will tell you it is the food capital of Malaysia. If you are looking for the must do attractions in Penang, head to Penang Hill and the funicular ride is the main activity in Penang. If you are looking for the number one activity to do in Penang for kids, head to the Youth Park.
8. Melbourne
Melbourne is a great place to be for familes. From getting around the city by tram to visiting Queen Victoria Market with fresh produce, we highly recommend you to go on a family road trip beyond the city. Drive to Port Campbell National Park to witness nature's marvellous rock formations, including an amazing collection known as the Twelve Apostles - carved out of the headland by the fierce waves of the Southern Ocean. Spectacular shapes in the nearby cliffs, including Loch Ard Gorge, the Arch, the Blowhole and London Bridge as well as Wreck Beach are also not to be missed.
