If you are traveling to an international destination, you will need to provide proof of your citizenship when you check in for your departure flight. Proof of Citizenship is in the form of a valid government issued Passport. The Passport must be presented both during check-in at the point of departure and again at the point of arrival for all International flights.
Depending on your citizenship, the countries you are visiting and your mode of transportation, the requirements for Passports and Visas can vary. You can obtain a passport and visa from YOUR country's embassy.
Note: Children under the age of 18 are required to have a Passport when traveling on international flights.
If you do not have a passport already, be sure to allow enough time for your application to be processed and issued once approved.

Visa - Is an endorsement stamped on your passport by foreign customs officials that allow you to visit that country.
In addition to holding a passport with sufficient unused pages, that will remain valid for at least six months, many countries require that you obtain a visa in order to enter that country. The need for a visa and related entry requirements vary greatly based on your nationality and country of destination. Countries issue visas through their embassies and/or consulates based in Singapore. There are different types of visas depending on the purpose of travel (tourist, business, transit, student, etc). Each country has its own rules, fees, application forms, length of stay, and entry requirements. For information on whether or not a "visa" is required for your journey, click here.
Determining and obtaining proper travel documentation (passport and/or visa) in advance of all trips is the responsibility of each traveller. Neither does CheapTickets nor its agents will be responsible for the application of such documents.
